You can’t talk about Icelandic food without talking about the world famous Icelandic Hotdog, Pylsur. This is almost kind of a fast food staple in the country.

I’d like to make note that fast food franchises in Iceland are not terribly common. The one we happened to see the most often was Subway. I noted one Dominos, and a KFC while we were there as well. Not that there isn’t convenient and tasty food available, there just seems to be healthier options more regularly available from the corner stores / grocery stores.

Every so often along the road outside of New Delhi we would end up going through small towns and villages. All of these villages always had at least one small shack set up where you could stop for food along your drive. Some were larger, and offered seating, others were no larger than a shack (barely able to provide enough space for the vendor to even cook in!). One thing always remained a staple, and that is a huge Indian Wok, used for frying plenty of delicious roadside mini-meals.

I had never seen a red trillium before and didnt even know they existed until we came across them! Did you know some places in the On a beautiful hike through the Glen Rouge valley I was captivated by the many lush ferns and emerald green moss covering the forest floor. The way the sunlight filters through the trees and casts a healthy glow on all the plant life creates a deep s Hrubá Skála Chateau - Czech Republic  We posted a picture previously over looking the view from the terrace of this stunning castle, this is part of that same terrace and where guests stay when visiting. We are back from a short hiatus to  plan out the new year, and excited to announce we shall be returning soon to this very same beach! February 21st we are flying back to our first love, where we took our first Hrubá Skála Chateau - Czech Republic 
Built on the former site of a 14th century castle, Hotel Hrubá Skála holds a long, rich and unique geological history. The once castle and now Renaissance chateau is built atop two san Over the romantic Vltava river in Prague at sunset - the lights on the river, the boat cruises floating softly by, all of the delicious restaurants over looking the water *sigh* Prague held such unexpected romance with it's old world charm, architect Czech Republic -hiking outside of Karlovy Vary

There is something so peaceful about being in a forest, especially one with really tall trees. When the light streams through the branches I always feel like I'm in another world it is so mystical and c Beautiful Iceland, it captured our hearts with its wild untamed landscape, stunning clouds that were so low we actually drove through one, volcanic hills, emerald green lush fields and black sand beaches. We got quite familiar with the train station as it was the most affordable way for us to get around the country. But our trips were not without their mistakes, after one particularly tiring day we missed our stop, ended u Pilsner Urquell Brewery

We travelled for 6 hours, over half way across the country in a race against time to make it to the last tour of the day at the Pilsner Urquell brewery, man what a crazy day! 🚅

Founded in 1839 the brewery has a long, rich, While on a 26 km cycle through the rolling hills of South Moravia and admiring all of the vineyards, we came across this patch of beautiful trees. Something about the symmatry, colour and odd placement caught our eye. Turns out these are known as &qu Pravčická brána - Bohemian Switzerland National Park, Czech Republic 
This beautiful sandstone arch is the largest natural archway in Europe and features a former hotel, the Falcon's Nest, built directly into the side of the stone in 18 Reykjavik - Iceland
After sleeping off the jet lag we walked down to the water front to see this stunning sunset over the bay. .
